Topic: SPECIAL MEETING: ANNUAL POTLUCK PICNIC IN ZILKER
PARK
Location:
The Zilker Park Rock Garden (see MAP
for Rock Garden location)
Time:
6:30 pm to 10 pm.
Join
the Austin Sierra Club for our annual potluck picnic at
Zilker Rock Garden Picnic Area. There will not be a formal
meeting, just a great meal with like-minded folks and plenty
of visiting and fellowship. Everyone is welcome, members
and non-members alike. Bring a favorite dish to share and
a serving utensil. We will supply the plates, glasses, knives,
forks, spoons as well as ice for drinks and an iced beverage.
Please remember that this part of Zilker Park prohibits
alcohol.
The
Zilker Rock Garden is on the hill above the Barton Springs
parking lot (over the crest of the hill from the Hillside
theatre). Here is a MAP of the
park.

Driving
directions to TSTA: The Texas State Teachers Association
building is located at the corner of 12th and Lavaca in
downtown Austin. From MoPac, take Enfield/15th Street to
Guadalupe. Turn RIGHT (South) on Guadalupe to 12th Street,
then LEFT (East) one block. The building is on the Northwest
corner. If there are spaces in the patio parking area, enter
the parking ramp and park, otherwise there should be ample
free parking on the street (parking meters are free after
